Based on the Curriculum, Cluey’s approach to Intermediate English focuses on core literacy skills, including reading fluency and comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, while also providing opportunities to learn about some conventions of language and literature. Previously, Rick taught across all primary levels, conducted professional development for teachers and was Head of Primary in a British international school.

Natiq completed his Higher School Certificate in 2016, achieving an ATAR of 99. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Politics and International Relations) in 2017. In 2018 he commenced his Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in International Relations) at the University of New South Wales. He has been tutoring since 2017. Natiq works closely with his students to assist with their essay writing and textual analysis.

She is currently studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics, and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland. Emma has been tutoring Year 5 students in Mathematics and English since 2015. She also has formal tutoring experience (including marking) in 1:1 and group settings. Emma enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain what they have learned.
